The Adventures of Ragtime (1998)
It’s surprising, considering how adorable, intelligent, and trainable the Sheltie is, that they haven’t flooded the ranks of movie dogs. Possibly, it is simply because of their size. Not many films call for a mini “Lassie” when they could just have a full-sized model. And go-to small dogs in Hollywood all tend to be terriers, toys, or mixed breeds. Still, you can find these tiny herders in several feature films.
