Wire Fox Terrier Movies

Song of the Thin Man (1947)

The Wire Fox Terrier has seen a great deal of silver screen success, mostly due to Skippy (“Asta”), movie star of the 1930s/40s. Hollywood’s go-to terrier in modern times is the Jack Russell or Parson Russell Terrier. In animation, Dodger from Oliver & Company (1988) was modeled on a Wire Fox Terrier and Snowy, sidekick of Tintin, is another.
