The Borzoi, or Russian Wolfhound, is not a well-known movie dog. You can spot them more for atmosphere in period films than anywhere else. Also see the animated Borzoi “Boris” in Lady and the Tramp (1955) and turn of the century hunters in the short documentary film Chasse aux loups en Russie (Russian Wolf Hunt) (1910).
