Afghan Hound Movies

Firehouse Dog (2007)

Afghan Hounds make flashy film dogs with a special look. They are even popular in animated films like Balto and Oliver & Company. They’re not known for leading roles, but used by Hollywood more as set decoration than performers, making a statement about the character they’re seen with. On the big screen, you’ll never see an Afghan Hound trying to tell someone Timmy fell down the well, or leading a family out of a burning building.
